The Calgary Police Service Pipe Band welcomes new members from the Calgary Community. If you are a Piper, Drummer or Dancer and are interested in joining this dynamic, high energy, dedicated group of performers, contact Pipe Major Trevis Hanson at (403) 620-1306 or email [email protected] for more information.
The band practices on Wednesday evenings at the West Winds Headquarters of the Calgary Police Service.

Things to know about joining:
- The band does not provide a teaching program for beginners. You should already be a proficient piper, drummer or dancer if you are interested in joining.
- You do not need to be a member of the Calgary Police Service to be a member of the CPS Pipe Band.
- Pipers must supply their own bagpipes.
- Drums and uniforms are provided by the band.
- In addition to our weekly practices on Wednesday evenings, the band may call for additional practices prior to key performances.
- All band members volunteer their time.
- Travel may be involved in your band experience.
